Sunday afternoon the girls and I made a "house" in the livingroom. To most boys this would be called a fort but to Sophia it was her house. Olivia had so much fun going in and out of our house, she was also the only one short enough to stand in it lol. What joyous fun you can have with a couple tv trays some blankets and pillows. We each had our own room in the house and a light from the ceiling! Our Olivia monster kept us all laughing by lifting one of the walls and screaming at us. And my oh my all the static that was making our hair messy from rubbing on the blankets hahaha!!
We spent most of the afternoon playing in our beautiful house and making great memories. Daddy joined in too! I forgot to take pictures because I was busy having fun. We kept the house up and after church that night Sophia tried sitting on the roof and knocked it all over.....oh the laughs we had :)
I have made it my new years resolution to have less tv time and more play time with my children....and who says I have to wait until the new year to start!? We have been having so much fun playing with our girls this past two weeks and it has made our home just that much better.

Welcome to Mount-WASH-more
Every morning I am faced with piles and piles of laundry, that never seem to get smaller. I feel so over whelmed buy mountains of dirty clothes, it feels as if I'm getting suffocated by it. I often ask myself, "why can't I keep up with the laundry?" , "why can't I keep these piles of clothes off the floor?", or "Am I the only one with this problem?". I do have to say some of the reason we have this problem is the lack of space to put our clothes. It's not that we have too much clothes (we just took tons to goodwill) it is the fact that we have one very small closet and two dressers that each have a broken drawer. We are looking to get some nice dressers soon. But back to my problem.....mount-wash-more!!! My washer and dryer are in the basement and I HATE our basement!! It grosses me out down there and I don't like going in it. one of the pipes on the washer backs up easily and so water gets all over everything, which is another reason I don't like doing my laundry. I really should be thankful though because I could be walking to the river and washing by hand, or heading to the laundry mat every week.
Now folding laundry doesn't bother me. But I never seem to get around to doing it. I fold my laundry right in my room and then put it away, the problem with this is the girls are usually in the living room playing and something always happens if I'm not down there. I have tried folding my laundry in the living room but it seems to never work out. 1st, it really just adds one more step to my laundry doings, because then I have to walk up and down the stairs a couple times to put it away. 2nd, my girls like to "help" mommy fold, which usually doesn't quite work out haha.
So how do I go about getting all this laundry done?? Maybe I could hire a fairy to wave her magic wand and BAMMMM it is all done!! Or maybe I'll just take it one day at a time, load by load, keep my chin up and won't let the piles get the best of me :)

OHHH NO....what a little stinker!!!
HAHA My youngest daughter Olivia is 8 months old. Olivia just skipped right pass the walking with holding onto something stage and went right to walking! She is such a joy to our whole family with her bright blue eyes and huge, one tooth smile. I have noticed how independent she is, don't ever try to take something away from this little girl she will have a death grip on it and "scream" at you. She is also very obedient, even at 8 months old if I tell her "no" or "put it down" she listens! Olivia can sure hold her own when in a little scuffle with her big sissy Sophia. The funny part about Olivia is she is so little, Sophia was bigger than her at this age. So since she is so small it is even funnier seeing her huge personality. Making people laugh is one of her specialties, she also loves playing peek-a-boo, and picking on the cat.
I just love my little Olivia so much. I know we will have hard times with her when she reaches two (or sooner) because she is so strong willed, but I will still love her with all my heart!
